In many cases step footings are required to traverse the ups and downs of the underlying rock. In some cases blasting may be required to ensure a proper foundation for your home or cottage. It is not uncommon to find natural springs bubbling up from the rock once the top soil is removed. Miscio Construction are general contractors and builders ... but even more important we are experts in quickly assessing and resolving issues related to proper footings and foundations for your home ... so that the job is done right the first time. Miscio Construction has been in the home and cottage building business in the Haliburton Highlands since 1987. This company is a family business with wife Marion doing all office related duties. Father and son team Levern and Chris Miscio run the company with a dedicated team of skilled workers. Levern’s oldest grandson Cole is now part of this team with hopefully 3 more to join at some point in time.
Levern is a fourth generation from Haliburton and knows soil conditions and climate changes well. Miscio Const. does complete turnkey custom home and cottage building to the exact requirements of discerning Home owners. No job is too big or too small.
Levern and Chris have contacts with registered designers and can steer you in the right direction to have your dream home or cottage plans designed for your approval and needs for building permits. Their motto is, "Do it once, but do it right."
