Miscio Construction Projects
NEW HOMES & COTTAGES
Miscio Const. is well experienced in all types of building, from custom cottage builds to residential housing to commercial buildings - as the Limberlost furniture building in Minden shows; this was their first commercial building for Minden Hills in the Industrial area. Advanced technology such as engineered floor joist, beams, roof truss’ or custom cut to fit are all part of this team's practises. All of the inspections involving building inspectors are called in from foundation to finish and inspection reports are given to customers to show that each stage of work has been passed by local authorities.
NEW FOUNDATIONS & REPAIRS
A good housing foundation is the most important part of any building. Foundation footings on undisturbed soil or pinned to bedrock with steps lifting above rough terrain are a priority to a good and stable foundation. Concrete block foundations have been proven to last for years and tradesmen for this type of foundation are diminishing, but Miscio Constructions crew have done this for over 25 years and are professionals in this line. Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) is also another form of foundation with an excellent R. factor for insulating basements. Miscio Const. also has an experienced cottage and home lifter on their list to raise buildings and we install proper winterized foundations under existing buildings.
RENOVATIONS & ADDITIONS
Housing or cottage renovations and additions are an excellent way to give your old place a new look again without having to start over. Any building addition should look like it was built from day one, and not appear as an add-on. Renovating with new windows, doors and insulation are all part of energy saving and will always pay off in time by conserving dollars spent on heating.

There are no delays waiting on other trades to get on site, we do it all including installing cabinetry.
Having a garage built adds tremendous value to a property, and provides you with extra storage and space. It can be built as a simple one or two car garage, or can be made elaborate and have a loft apartment built in to accommodate guests. Garages are now much more than just storage for cars, but also can provide perfect ATV or snowmobile storage, a replacement for a tool shed and workshop, or equipment storage. A custom built garage can be made to any specifications, and as with all of our projects, we guarantee top quality.
Exterior decks and walk ways are all a part of the exterior finish that can enhance the quality of life for you and your family.
